Lego Clock Article Published in Horological Science Newsletter
An Introduction to the Lego Astronomical Clock was just published in the Horological Science Newsletter (HSN) Issue 2016 - 2 May 2016. The purpose of Chapter #161 of the NAWCC is to foster informal communications among those interested in the technical aspects of horology. They publish science based horological articles that are: too technical for publication in the larger periodicals, a work in progress that is desiring peer review, or horological research that is offered for all to consume.
Bob Holmström, HSN editor and publisher, has been encouraging me to submit an article for a couple of years so I used my draft posts, attached some pictures, and updated old charts and tables. Finishing this article brought back a lot of design details that I had forgotten. I hope you enjoy it:
